Enterprise software assumes an IT department. Most SMEs have a person who's good with computers.

Small and medium-sized businesses deserve the same joined-up systems as large companies, without the six-figure projects, the jargon or the consultants who disappear after the sale. You need software that fits how you work, a partner who understands business as well as code, and a price agreed before work starts.

Intellimatic has built systems for organisations from fast-growing event businesses to financial services departments and manufacturers. We start with a conversation about your goals, find where the time and money go, and build only what will make a measurable difference.

Pragmatic, phased and honest about what is worth doing.

The team behind the Spine Race and Beyond the Ultimate

“Intellimatic delivered on time and budget; a system that provides us with a single reliable point of truth.”

As a smaller, yet rapidly growing business, we couldn't find an off the shelf system that met our needs, but we were nervous about commissioning a bespoke solution, worrying that we didn't have the technical knowledge to specify what we needed. Evgeny's skills and insight, his business know-how, and his technical expertise immediately put us at ease. Intellimatic delivered on time and budget; a system that provides us with a single reliable point of truth eradicates the duplication of work and helps us make timely decisions based on critical data.

Questions, answered

Can a small business afford bespoke software?

Often, yes, when it is phased sensibly. We start with the part that will save the most time or money, price it up front, and only continue when it has proved its value. For some needs an off-the-shelf tool is cheaper, and we will say so.

We don't know exactly what we need. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Most clients come to us with a problem rather than a specification. Structuring that thinking is part of what we do.

How is Intellimatic different from a software agency?

You work directly with the person who designs and builds your system, who is a business consultant as much as a developer. There are no account managers or hand-offs, and the advice is about outcomes, not technology for its own sake.

Do you only work with manufacturers?

No. Manufacturing is a focus, but we have built systems for financial services, events and professional services businesses. If your operations run on spreadsheets and email, we can help.

What's slowing you down?

A free, no-obligation conversation with Evgeny, the person who would build it. Over coffee in Shrewsbury, on your shop floor or on a call. You will leave with at least one idea you can use, whether or not we work together.
