Off-the-shelf software asks you to change how you work. Bespoke software changes to fit you.

Bespoke software is a system designed for one business: your processes, your terminology, your customers. Instead of bending a generic package with workarounds and spreadsheets on the side, you get screens that match the way jobs really move through your company.

We build secure web applications that run in a browser on any device, from the office PC to a tablet on the shop floor. They connect to the accounting, CAD and ERP tools you already use, and they grow one module at a time as your business does.

The team behind the Spine Race and Beyond the Ultimate

“Intellimatic delivered on time and budget; a system that provides us with a single reliable point of truth.”

As a smaller, yet rapidly growing business, we couldn't find an off the shelf system that met our needs, but we were nervous about commissioning a bespoke solution, worrying that we didn't have the technical knowledge to specify what we needed. Evgeny's skills and insight, his business know-how, and his technical expertise immediately put us at ease. Intellimatic delivered on time and budget; a system that provides us with a single reliable point of truth eradicates the duplication of work and helps us make timely decisions based on critical data.

Questions, answered

What is bespoke software?

Bespoke software is designed and built for one organisation's processes, rather than bought as a generic package. You own a system that matches how your business works, can change as it changes, and has no per-feature licence creep.

Is bespoke software more expensive than off-the-shelf?

It costs more to start than a subscription, but it often costs less over time because you stop paying for workarounds, duplicate data entry and features you never use. We price each phase up front after a requirements session, and we will tell you honestly if an off-the-shelf product is the better buy.

How long does a bespoke system take to build?

We aim to put a first working piece in front of your team within weeks, then add to it in short releases. Building the most valuable part first means you see results while the rest is still being built.

Will it work with our accounts package and existing tools?

Usually, yes. We connect to common accounting systems such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks, to Microsoft 365, and to many ERP and CAD/CAM tools through their APIs or exports. Where a system has no API, we find a reliable way to exchange data.

Who owns the software and the data?

You do. Your data is always yours, and we agree code ownership and hosting arrangements in writing before any build starts.

What happens after it goes live?

We provide ongoing support, hosting and improvements on a plan that suits you. Most clients keep adding modules as the business grows.

What's slowing you down?

A free, no-obligation conversation with Evgeny, the person who would build it. Over coffee in Shrewsbury, on your shop floor or on a call. You will leave with at least one idea you can use, whether or not we work together.
