AI is useful in a factory office when it takes over the reading, typing and searching, and a person stays in charge.

Practical AI for manufacturers means applying modern language and document models to specific, measurable jobs: pulling line items out of a customer's RFQ, matching a supplier invoice to the PO and delivery note, or answering "what torque does this procedure specify?" from your own documents.

We build these tools into your existing workflow, with a person approving anything that matters. We deploy them privately, so customer drawings, prices and formulations never end up training someone else's model, and your staff stop pasting sensitive documents into free chatbots.

Where AI actually helps

What we deploy

Small, focused tools with clear measures, not an "AI strategy" deck.

Document reading

Enquiries, purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices read into structured data, with every field checked against what you expected.

  • RFQ and drawing pack triage
  • PO and acknowledgement capture
  • Three-way invoice matching

What torque for the M12 flange bolts on the VB-220?

Tighten to 85 Nm in a cross pattern, in two stages: 40 Nm, then 85 Nm. Re-check after the pressure test.

Questions, answered

How can a small manufacturer use AI?

The most reliable wins are in the office rather than on the machine: reading RFQs, purchase orders and supplier invoices into your systems, and answering questions from procedures and specifications. These save hours every week and are easy to measure.

Is it safe to use AI with customer drawings and pricing?

It can be, if it is set up properly. We use enterprise AI services that contractually do not train on your data, restrict access by role, and can host in the UK or EU. Public free chatbots are the risk; a private deployment is the remedy.

Will AI replace our estimators or admin team?

No. It removes the copying and searching so skilled people can spend their time on judgement: costing, planning and customers. A person reviews and approves anything important.

Do we need to change our ERP to use AI?

No. AI tools can sit alongside your current systems and pass clean data into them. That is usually quicker and cheaper than an ERP upgrade.

How do we know it is working?

We agree measures before building, such as quote turnaround time, invoices processed per hour or errors caught, and report against them once it is live.

What's slowing you down?

A free, no-obligation conversation with Evgeny, the person who would build it. Over coffee in Shrewsbury, on your shop floor or on a call. You will leave with at least one idea you can use, whether or not we work together.
